Just before the MidWinter Regatta SCYA will hold it’s 28th annual Women’s Sailing Convention on Saturday February 4th at BCYC. There will be a full day of seminars on the water and on shore taught by some of the top women sailors in Southern California. This is the perfect opportunity to refresh your skills and learn new ones. Work shops include sail trim, basic navigation, weather, spinnaker rigging and race tactics to name a few. There will be over 30 topics presented and many of the classes fill up fast. So get you registration in early.
The nominal fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. An early bird discount is provided by registering before December 31, 2016. After the seminar you will want to get out on the water and you will be in luck the Midwinter Regatta will provide the opportunity over the following 2 weekends. The MidWinters provide opportunity to hone your new skills no matter what your skill level.
